Touch a Truck Day!

We had so much fun today at the Touch a truck Day! The boys each got a hard hat. Katie Q. came with us and Aunt Shannon & Soph too. Here are some great memories captured from today's event!
First they checked out the inside of the Ambulance....
Tyler was so excited he did not want to get out.... lets pray this does not become a habit in his later years....
Checking out the firetrucks backseat ....

and Tyler is driving the firetruck....woo woo

Conner enjoying his hard hat... too cute

Tyler's favorite was the digger.... Trying to work the controlsTyler chilling in the bobcat singing "bob the builder" song....."Can we build it, Yes we can!"As long as Tyler stays in the front seat of the police car.....

Driving the police car....

After a long day of seeing the ambulance, firetruck, helicopter, bobcat, digger, cement truck, dump truck, mail truck, police car, school bus, moving truck, and Semi-truck we took a break in the shade to have some water and snacks. Then the helicopter was preparing to take off. This was the highlight before we left. The kids were so excited and waving bye!

Then we went to BK for Lunch and played in the jungle gym area. There were no kids in the playarea so Katie went in with Tyler! The rules were in Spanish anyways so who would complain!

June

Wow, June is Here! This is a great month! There are so many highlights...
June 4th - Happy Birthday Kimberly - My lil sis!
June 7th - Happy Birthday Scotty!!! Wow, 31!
We went to PF Chang's (Yummy!) ,with the Pongratz family. I attempted to make Scotty's favorite birthday cake because for one Scott requested but mainly because our local DQ burnt down...so no ice cream cake this year. The Chocolate Mayo cake came out really good! So good, Scott is now requesting I make the cake from now on and more often.....I say Whatever, Ha ha! But really it was easy to make!
Also coming up is our Anniversary....
June 24th - Scott and I will be celebrating 8 yrs!
I never thought this day would come where I would be writing in a blog that I am officially a Mom (who drives a mini van - If you didn't know) with two boys and married for 8yrs to a wonderful husband, Daddy, and best friend! Time flies...but these have been the best years of my life and wouldn't trade these years for anything...well maybe a million cause I really need the money...ha ha...just kidding! God has blessed me so much and I am so thankful for my Family with these boys! I love you Scotty, Tyler, and Conner!!!
Our boys are growing up too fast! Conner is wanting to be just like Tyler! They play and wrestle with each other...they are def. boys. I wake up at 7:30 in the morning to Tyler stuck in Conner's crib, becase he climbs in and wakes him up but can't get out..."Mommy come get me". Conner is now 81/2 mon .....he's fast and can pull up on everything ...I predict he will start walking soon. He has already took a few steps on his walker Car thing. Also i think he says "ball" and :( "Daddy" I wish he could say mama...but only when he cries...
Below are some fun photos...

Spring Break to SC

First Day of Spring Break.....

I decided to take a road trip with the boys and my mom to SC. Check out this pic of the van packed to the top with our whole house... Simba sleeping bag, Elmo Couch, Bouncy chair, Bobby pillow, Jumperoo....and more.

We finally arrived to our Destination....after 15hrs in the car. It was a long night. Tyler was so excited to see his Uncle Jonathan. He kept saying "yeah, we reached our annuciation" (meaning destination)
Conner was also excited to be out of his car seat.

So the first thing we decide to do is get back in the car and go to the beach! It was cold and windy.

Tyler was running to the ocean. He was so excited...

I love these next pics of the boys at the beach.

Conner's first time at the beach....He loved it!

Tyler was on a mission to find seashells when he came across a starfish. This has been one of his favorite memories of the whole trip. To this day he will tell you about our trip to the beach and saw the starfish. We did not keep it cause it was still alive. So Jonathan showed Tyler the starfish and put it back into the ocean. Tyler wasn't so sure if he should touch it or not...with his shells still in the other hand.

After our long day at the beach....

We went to Angolina's for NY Style pizza yummy....Tyler of course loved it.
Then we went downtown Charleston ....here are a few of the homes on the coast.

This one was my favorite.... SO this is a pic of us in front of my Charleston Summer Home....

We were walking along this coast and stopped to take a pic of the trees. They were so cool looking and amazing!

Jonathan took Tyler in his Jeep stroller up the stairs and down the stairs to this Cazebo....Tyler loved it and was belly laughing.

Tyler had his eye on this helicopter that kept flying over our heads....we finally saw it land in the water. It was the coast guard and they were training...Some were jumping out of the helicopter and then they practiced with the cage bringing them back up. It was pretty cool to see but blinding cause of the sun.

Part II Coming soon....fun times in SC!!!
