Train ride to the IN State Fair
Last night we picked up two papers to get our free admission tickets into the fair. We took the train in Fishers to the Fair and back....we packed everything up and met with Jason & Shannon Pongratz Family . Here are some great pics...
Ok so we walk in and the first thing we see is....Pineapple whip...YUMMY! It was delicious...made us miss Springfield...Then more food for dinner...I had an Italian sausage and pepper sandwich, Scott had a Huge Turkey Leg, and Tyler had a corn dog. Then off to the rides for the kiddies...Tyler had his eye on this roller coaster...At first I was like no way...but he was tall enough to go by himself...so sad they are old enough now to go on the rides...I was nervous but He loved it and was so excited, I think that was his favorite part...to see his face going down the hill was priceless...we didn't get any pics...but take a look at our post of the video highlights.
Well time to go...Wait we can't leave the fair without something fried...lol...So we got a funnel cake and Shan & Jay had a elephant Ear...YUMMY!
The boys loved the train & fair...on our way to the car Tyler said, "Thank you mommy & Daddy. I had so much fun!...Five min. in the car and he was out...Conner on the other hand fussed until I put in a Elmo video and then he was happy! Fun times and great memories!!!

SATURDAY'S.....
Quiet Time!!!
Tyler stopped taking naps...only on a good day if he says he is really tired he will go and take a nap. I miss having that time to relax or catch up on things that need to be done around the house. I do have time when Conner goes down for sure. But sometimes I wish they would both go down at the same time. That would just be too easy...lol.
Last week we watched Sophia. Tyler was so excited for her to come over and play. When she first arrived Tyler said, "My Best Friend is here!" It was so cute...Then they just had so much fun together playing Doctor and with the tool set. Then it was snack time...I gave sophie blueberries which is usually Tyler's fav snack..and she downed her first bowl and wanted more..so Tyler shared his with Sophie. Then of course we had Mac N Cheese for Lunch!! Yum YUm!
Then it was time for Quiet time....Conner was exhausted chasing the two of them around and was ready for a nap. Sophie seemed to be winding down too. Tyler was so giddy, it was fun! Below is a picture of them reading books in Tyler's ELMO bed. Tyler is reading his BIBLE and Sophie is reading Fraggle Rock! Quiet time didn't last very long but it was worth a try! They were just having too much fun!

August is HERE!!
Have you talked with God lately? Do you walk with him daily? Do read and breathe his living word? Now is the time, take a moment and talk to the creator. Whats amazing is God's Grace. He wipes our sins away...Start new today! God loves you so much!
This is a video of Tyler singing his Favorite song..... "Oh Happy Day by Tim Hughes" Unfortunely the picture is dark but he is singing while playing his blow up guitar.

Last week of July...Hot Summer Days!

Daddy took us to the Children's Museum!
TUESDAY....
We went to the Movie theater for the first time to see Veggie Tales - Pirates who don't do anything...lol... for FREE!! The boys had so much fun with there Aunt Shan Shan and Sophie too. I brought plenty of snacks...two bags of popcorn, a big bag of Animal crackers, fruit snacks, and raisin boxes and they made it thru the entire movie. Here are some cute pics....
We are the last ones to leave and they were dancing in the aisle..too cute.
Then to finish off the afternoon I gave the boys...
FIRECRACKER ICE POPS!!!!
I love there first reactions to how sweet and sour they are!!!
Yummy ...the blue razz berry part was there fav.
Allergies....My Experience
OK, so I took my boys to get tested to see IF or what there allergies are....Which was not very fun but needed to be done. Which is a shame, but I am trying to be a good Mama and make sure my kids are safe and healthy. Tyler was a tough guy! Conner screamed like he was being murdered! However it is pretty crazy what they go thru for being so young ...the tests are done on there backs and they look like lab experiments when there done Conner had like 30 pricks and Tyler had like 40. Then it swells up if they have a reaction. And you have to hold them down
so they don't touch there backs and scratch!(Which is 15 min until tests results show)
My first Comment to whoever the docs or nurses that the studies of breastfed babies for the first year will not get allergies, asthma, and eczema.....Well, WHATEVER cause I did that and that's crap cause both my boys have it ALL!!! Sorry that's my little vent for everything a Mom goes thru for those first years...
I kind of had an idea what they were allergic to since they already had reactions to these ....Well the tests reveal Tyler is allergic to Eggs, Cashews, and maybe Dogs?! Conner's test was a little more serious too cause he was from day 1 allergic to Ibuprofen and formula. So Conner's results were...Milk, Eggs, and Almonds. So basically they both need to stay away from Tree Nuts. Conner is going to have it rough for awhile with everything he can't have...there is a lot of dairy in a lot of things...So now its all about reading labels, having Benadryl on hand, and epi - pens. I just pray that the boys will grow out of this ...until then the Pongratz boys will just have to be deprived of some things. Yikes and the experience continues....whats next!?!
